Restoration work is our specialty. We can restore to 100% factory stock or upgrade. Upgrades are more popular as it allows for an improvement in sonic performance by utilizing higher quality components and revising less than perfect lead dress. We call this “restification” or “resto-mod” work.
Below is one example of a “restification” job. The amplifier is a rare and obscure 1971, Plush 3000G amplifier. The customer required the replacement of every resistor and capacitor in the amplifier along with an upgrade of the quality of components used.
